LUMINOUS: NETHER V1.3.1 Changelog

NEW FEATURES:

-Added a Blacklist for the ectoplasm ball so that certain unobtainable blocks cannot be obtained (luminous_nether:ectoplasmblacklist is the name of the block tag)


BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed an issue where the ritual table was not appearing in the creative menu

  • Fixed one of the loot vases not breaking when it was mined with silk touch

  • Fixed an issue where Loot vases would not be obtainable if mining them with wooden tools

  • Fixed a bug where Piglin Cultists and Piglin Cultist Rider's would drop iron axes instead of gold ones

  • Fixed the archer cultist burning in the daylight


RETEXTURES / MODEL CHANGES:

TECHNICAL CHANGES:

-Piglin Cultist Archers no longer strafe when shooting their bows due to a change in their AI task. This is not ideal, but it is necessary atm to stop the cultists archers from behaving strangely

LUMINOUS: NETHER V1.3.0 Changelog

NEW FEATURES:

-Added a new line to the procedure that triggers the startup message about Luminous Tag, so that after 3 world joins, the message will automatically be turned off for that world for that player.

-Added the Full Golden Mushroom block, a new version of the golden mushroom block with the mushroom texture on all sides and its appropriate crafting recipe, being a 2x2 of normal golden mushroom blocks

-Added 3 new loot vase variants, these ones themed around the soul sand valley

-Added the Guzzleghast - a new ghost mob found in the ash forest which targets players with food in their inventory. Feed them food to pacify them, and for a chance to get new loot!

-Added a secret easter egg when Guzzle Ghasts are named "happy", making it unable to become aggressive towards the player

-Added the Ectoplasm Ball - a new projectile that changes a blocks gravity, making any block fall!

-Added the Driprot block, Driprot vine, and the Driprot brick set

-Added Driprot clumps, new features of hanging vines from the roof of the ash forest, which have hanging Pale melons, a new food source in the nether

-Added Pale Melon, a new food source that can be eaten quickly!

-Added a new use to ghost vents - walking on them will now make the player invisible briefly. Use this to evade all ghost types!

BUG FIXES:

-Fixed a critical issue where a world save could be corrupted when used alongside Terrablender

(Thank you to everyone for your patience with this issue. It's been difficult to work around the numerous roadblocks that came with fixing this, but after some testing and tweaks, the surface rules of the biomes do not nest inside themselves in the level.dat folder anymore, meaning the corruption should no longer happen! The mod is not yet COMPATIBLE with Terrablender, meaning it does not need to be enabled as a require dependency for the mod (yet), but support for that will come with time!)

-Fixed an issue where Golden mushrooms could not be placed on Golden Nylium

-Fixed an issue where Golden Fungi could not be placed on Golden Nylium

-Fixed a bug where the Warped Spitter spawned a LOT more than intended

-Fixed an issue in the code of the Mushlin Spitter, so the player properly gets the variable when it defeats the Mushlin Spitter, allowing it to drop more loot

-Fixed an issue where one of the versions of the Mushin King would not attack as intended

TECHNICAL CHANGES:

-The size and spawn frequency of the Fungal Plains biome has been reduced

Reducing the size and frequency of the biomes is an experimental change, aimed at balancing how often the new biomes are found compared to vanilla ones. Feel free to leave feedback on this change/balance, as it would be greatly appreciated!

-Mushlin Bumpers Killed by fire aspect will drop cooked Mushlin Protein instead of raw Mushlin Protein

-Piglin Cultists, Cultist Archers, Cultists Riders, and Cultist Captains Killed by fire aspect will drop cooked Pork instead of raw

-Crimson Walker spawn weight reduced from 5 > 4

-The max number of raw/cooked pork that a Piglin Cultist, Cultist Archer, and Cultist Leader can drop reduced from 4 > 3

-The Fungal plains' sky color has been darkened significantly

-The air particles in the Fungal Plains no longer spin

-Changed the subtitle captions for all custom audio

-Golden Nylium is now affected by silk touch, and fill drop  fungirrack if broken without silk touch now

NEW FEATURES:

-Added the Warped Spewer, the rare variant of the Mushlin Spewer!

-Added the Basalt Executioner, the rare variant of the Piglin Executioner!

-Added 3 new trophies respectively for each of the 3 new beasts!

-Added a new Damage type - Hemorrhage, exclusive to damage taken when you have the hemorrhage potion effect

-Added new death messages for hemorrhaging players

-Added Five configuration variables, "Mending Blacklist Item 1-5", which lets players specify FIVE items which will not be healed by the Auto mending effect of the mending ritual. ANY LIST ENTRY MUST BE IN QUOTATIONS AND IN STANDARD REGISTRY NAME FORM (EX: "minecraft:diamond" or "luminous_nether:fungirrack_bricks"), I plan on adding more in the future, or making the list unlimited, but for now, it's only 5

-Added the Gilded cultist - a limited time mob in celebration of 100K downloads on LUMINOUS:NETHER! Thank you for all the support! The gilded cultist will spawn rarely in the Fungal plains biome - Attacking/killing it will yield some good loot, and has a rare special trophy drop!

-Added a new "Gilded" particle which will show up around the Gilded Cultist

-Added a new colored line of text under all of the beast trophies

-Added the Gilded Cultist trophy

-Added the Gilded Bundle, a new way to get loot when killing a Gilded Mob!

-Added a new configuration variable "Startup_Message", which determines if the startup message about luminous:tag is present

-Rebuilt the configuration file completely, opting for simpler language and fixing an issue caused during an attempted port to 1.21 The ONLY configuration file that works now is "Luminous_Nether_Configuration", the old one can be deleted


BUG FIXES:

-Fixed a bug where the Piglin executioner would reference the wrong configuration variable when attempting to spawn when the value was set to 3

-The golden poisonous mushroom will no longer affect mobs, just players

-Piglin cultists will now try to follow each other in groups

-Reduced the amount of particles in the air of the fungal plains slightly

-Added the cultist Rider, a new tough cultist mob found in the fungal plains

-Added 3 new loot vases found in the nether wastes, which can be broken for loot!

-Added the RITUAL OF MENDING - a new ritual that provides a new effect with a 20 minute cooldown

-Added the AUTO-MENDING effect, which heals all armor and tools in a players inventory partially every 3 minutes the effect is active

-Added the FURNACE, the third legendary beast - this big bad bunch of bricks wanders the nether wastes, and is not easy to take down!

-Added an advancement for destroying the furnace

-Added the furnace trophy

-Added the Ember - a small flame spirit released from the furnace

-Added the Molten Coal - an ATTACK BASED item dropped by the Furnace - which gives the player strength when on fire!

-Added a new config: Furnace_spawn for determining spawn rate of the furnace beast

-Added the GLIDER, a new mob found in the nether wastes and basalt deltas, capable of carrying players if fed crimson flesh!

-Added "Heavy Nether Bricks" - a new block set made from netherrack, with a wall, stair, slab, lamp, and decorative variant
