Moar Redstone

The Moar Redstone datapack adds a bunch of new redstone devices to the game. The goal, like our normal ‘Moar’ Datapack, is to add more of something to the game to fill a missing role or hole in the game. The Moar Redstone pack does this by adding new redstone devices that allow you to achieve things that are normally either impossible or weird and glitchy to do.

So, what do the Redstone Devices do?

  • Transmitter: Can be bound to a channel, drop on another transmitter or receiver to link them. Will power all receivers on the channel if it is given a redstone signal.

  • Receiver: Can be bound to a channel, drop on another transmitter or receiver to link them. Receives redstone signals from all transmitters on the channel. With become powered when any are activated.

  • Handheld Transmitter: Sends a quick pulse on right-click to any receivers on the network. Link it to a network by dropping it on any networked block.

  • Player Detector: Becomes powered when a player is near it.

  • Hostile Mob Detector: Becomes powered when a hostile mob is near it.

  • Passive Mob Detector: Becomes powered when a passive mob is near it.

  • Collector: Collects all items in a fairly large radius around it, much like a modded vacuum hopper.

  • Timer: Sends out a redstone pulse on a configurable timer. Can be set between 1s to 30s.
